Hey there! I’m Heather, your Hormonal Balance Health Coach. Suffering with polycystic ovarian syndrome for many years finally lead me to open my eyes to Naturopathic Medicine & Holistic Nutrition; that was after failed attempts of conventional perscribed medication & no nutrition coaching. I continued to drown in a sea of hormonal imbalance, adrenal fatigue, metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, and more. But, the great news is that I was able to get my hormones in balance, relive symptoms of insulin resistance and adrenal fatigue, and have my metabolic syndrome under control. Did this happen overnight? No. Why? Balancing your hormones & getting control of your underlying symptoms of hormonal imbalance takes time, lifestyle changes, and new eating habits. Was it hard? At first, yes; but now it’s my life, so it isn’t. However, I have been there and know how tempting it is to reach for the candy bar at 3p.m when you think that’s going to cure your energy crash, guzzle a fizzy soda when your thirsty, I’ve been there too! But, there is hope at the end of the tunnel. By working with me you will gain clarity to your hormonal imbalance and achieve what some might call the impossible… HORMONAL BALANCE! And you will loose fat and learn to keep it off, not just loose weight to find it knocking at your door later with more friends.

​WHAT MAKES ME THE EXPERT?

I have battled with hormonal imbalance & polycystic ovarian syndrome and have begun healing myself with amazing results! I’m I cured? No, but I’m getting there. Have I lost weight? Yes, but I’m not finished. Gaining control of your hormonal imbalance, loosing fat, & keeping it off and staying well isn’t something that is going to happen overnight and you don’t want it to. You didn’t pack on the pounds & get out of balance overnight, did you? No, probally not. Therefore, to get better it’s going to take time. If you are looking for a get skinny overnight or be free of your symptoms, and have your hormones in balance overnight you are in the wrong place my beautiful friend. However, if you are ready to take the first step to gaining control of your hormones, loose fat, & relieve yourself of symptoms the healthy & natural way, then you are in the right place. My extensive training has prepared me for this moment to help you!

MY EDUCATION:

I am a certified holistic health coach and a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. I recieved my education from the world class Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I was taught a holistic approach to health & wellness which means I look at all areas of your life that are affecting your body & coach accordingly to your specific underlying symptoms and aliments. I have been educated by some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. My educators included: Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.  I have also been trained in over 100 dietary therories as well as stress & lifestyle management techniques. Does my education stop there? No way! In the fall of 2013 I will be working on my B.A in Holistic Nutrition & Alternative Medicine. I want to be able to continue bringing you the most cutting edge research in holistic nutrition & alternative medicine there is! I also continue to read and update myself on the fields of holistic nutrition & alternative medidince; getting my hands on every book!
